SYNTAGMA CAPITAL joins the United Nations-supported Principles for Responsible Investment Commitment. As part of its commitment to sustainability, Syntagma Capital announced today that it has joined the United Nations-supported Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI).

Syntagma Capital aims to develop better companies that strive for both financial success and a lasting positive impact on society, Syntagma Capital believes in the role of responsible ESG behavior to drive corporate and financial performance with a focus on long-term impacts for all stakeholders.

The PRI is a global network of asset managers, owners and service providers working together to advance responsible investment practices. The principles provide a framework for integrating environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) considerations into investment decision-making and ownership practices.

In line with PRI guidelines, Syntagma has developed a comprehensive action plan for 2023, including the creation of a responsible investment policy and the integration of ESG considerations into investment decisions. The firm will also fulfill its annual PRI reporting requirements.

“By joining PRI, we underline our commitment to create better companies that, besides financial success, have a long-term positive impact on society. Syntagma considers ESG factors as an opportunity to create returns for our environment and all stakeholders. We encourage the companies in which we invest to adopt policies that reduce their environmental impact, enhance their ESG values, and improve their corporate and financial performance.” said Sebastien Kiekert Le Moult, Managing Partner of Syntagma Capital.
